It’s unique D’Aluisio Smartweld Technology lies at the heart of the Allez Sprint, making the bike a lot more compliant and stiff at the same time by strategically placing more welding material where it’s needed and removing where it’s not. This allowed Specialized to solve those limitations associated with conventional aluminium manufacturing and create a bike that was incredibly stiff, yet still compliant and nimble in its handling. Not only is this the stiffest alloy bike they made, but it’s also the stiffest alloy bike ever tested from any manufacturer.
